The Datsun S30 is one of the very few vehicles with a timeless design. The look of the car does not go out of date, which is not very common these days. The car looked great back in the day and looks even sexier today when cruising among the main stream cars of the 90’s and 2000’s. For this car to look absolutely stunning and really stand out in the crowd (although it already does), all one has to do is put on some attractive wheels and a front air dam on the vehicle.
Let’s have a look at this 1974 Datsun 260Z (from our friends at Unfinished Man) which happens to have a complete engine swap in it. The original motor has been replaced with an R33 Nissan Skyline RB25DET motor. This is one of the rare examples of a Z that has little to no rust. Although sexy, these cars are considered to be rust buckets. The example we are looking at today is rust free because it spent most of its life in California. This 260Z was a perfect candidate for an RB25DET motor swap for this particular reason, the fact that no extra work had to be completed in terms of rust removal. continue reading →
