When the Mercedes CLS was introduced, it was a hate it or love it design. At first I hated the design and didn’t think it was necessary to have a coupe design with 4 doors. There was barely any head room for the rear passengers and the rear window was too small. My opinion changed when the CLS 63 was introduced to the market. There and then I saw that there was a market for a 4 door coupe.
Audi, VW, and Porsche jumped on the bandwagon a few years too late but Mercedes proved that there is a market for that type of vehicle. continue reading →
The French are known for making great wine, bread, and cheese. It’s rare that we hear about the French tuning cars. A not so well known company, Delavilla, have taken on the task of tuning Porsche cars. Their newest creations is the Widebody Porsche Cayman R1 but they have also tuned other 911 series of cars.

Mercedes Benz’s in-house tuner, Brabus, never seizes to amaze. They always strive to be the best and always challenge their engineers to outdo themselves. Brabus has once again stepped up and engineered the world’s fastest street legal sedan. Called the Brabus 800 Rocket, which uses the CLS platform, is 50 more horsepower than their previous fastest sedan, the SV12R.
To help burn the rubber on the rear wheels, the Brabus 800 Rocket is powered by a 12 cylinder, which was converted to be able to handle the 800 hp put out by the V12 Bi Turbo engine. To help achieve the high horsepower output, the Mercedes 600 engine’s displacement was bumped up from 5.5 to 6.3 liters. This also helped bump up the torque to 811 lb/ft of torque.
What’s the fun of going fast if the car can’t handle the speed?! To help reach the top speed of 230 mph, the exterior of the vehicle has gone through tremendous changes. The exterior refinements include; widened wheel arches, large air intakes, a rear diffuser and rear wing. continue reading →
The Mazda MX-5 or better known as the Mazda Miata is probably the best selling car for Mazda since it was introduced in the early 90’s. Since its injunction, the Miata has had 3 face lifts. Although tagged as a “chic’s” car, the MX-5 has a huge following around the world.
This following has led Mazda to introduce a limited number of the new MX-5 Karai. Karai meaning ‘sharp’ in Japanese, is based on the roadster coupe, which has the retractable hardtop. The new MX-5 comes in an eye catching lime green called, “Metal Green Metallic”. A contrasting glossy black for the hardtop, rear view mirrors, trim accents such as the front grille and fog lamp surround, as well as 17 inch alloy wheels in low profile tires. continue reading →

The Bugatti Grand Sport “L’Or Blanc” as it’s called, is created in partnership with Konigliche Porzellan Manufactur (KPM), was unveiled on Thursday at the porcelain manufacture’s workshop in Berlin, Germany.
