Quicker gearshifts - Formula 1 style
In addition to its many variations of
engine tuning, kleemann
also improves the
software of the electronic control unit for the
five-speed ZF automatic gearbox. To maximize the
potential of its tuned cars, kleemann
has
developed an Electronic Gear Shift (EGS) module
that provides faster gearshifts as well as the
ability to shift through the gears via two
buttons on the kleemann
sport steering wheel in
optimum Formula 1-style.
The kleemann
Electronic Gear Shift (EGS) is
available for 5.0 litre V8 E-Class (W211), CLK
(W209) and SL (R230).
