The sporty and elegant CLK Coupe enters supercar
territory with a comprehensive kleemann
tuning
and styling program. Efficient engine tuning is
available for all CLK models, but the top of the
range is the kleemann
CLK 55K S8. The S8 tuning
kit enhances power output to 596 Hp and 770 NM
(570 lb-ft) of torque. Fitted with kleemann
limited slip differential (LSD) and the kleemann
speed sensitive sports suspension, the compact
sports car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62
mph) in under four seconds, and the top speed is
limited to 300 km/h (186 mph).
The kleemann
front spoiler has been designed to
provide additional airflow for improved cooling
of the intercooler and brakes, while the
kleemann
rear spoiler is complete with a
diffuser channel that elegantly wraps the
Trapezoid tail pipe. A complete stainless steel
exhaust system for V6 and V8 models ensures a
sporty sound when combined with custom-made
headers and application-specific super sport
camshafts. Also available is tailor-made light
alloy wheels in different designs and high
performance brake systems.
The kleemann
interior treatments cover a range
of choices between individual leather/alcantara
solutions as well as attractive accessories such
as ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel,
different cover inlays, and illuminated entrance
panels for that complete feeling of customized
exclusivity.
