From every angle the Mercedes-Benz SL roadster
is a stunning looking car, putting an even
higher demand on the design team in charged with
designing the kleemann
front and rear spoiler to
the car. The kleemann
front spoiler has
integrated air ducts for extra cooling of the
front brakes and it works to reduce negative
lift on the front axle, increasing high speed
driving stability. Its rear counterpart has an
integrated diffuser and makes provisions for the
kleemann
sport exhaust system with one Trapezoid
shaped tail pipe on each side.
For SL 500 owners kleemann
can fit a Kompressor
system on their 5.0 litre V8-engine together
with application-specific super sport camshafts,
tailor-made headers in stainless steel, and a
complete exhaust system for even more power,
torque and sporty sound. kleemann
also provides
tuning solutions for the SL 55 AMG and the SL
600, which will gain increases to 640 Hp and 627
Hp respectively. The top of the line is the
kleemann
SL 65 based on the SL 65 AMG. A
powerful performance upgrade adds 127 Hp and 300
Nm (222 lb-ft), taking the car beyond super car
territory.
Another important kleemann
customized feature on
the SL is the two-piece TM-5 or the three-piece
forged TS-6 kleemann
light alloy wheels, which
can be fitted on all SL-models in 18, 19, and 20
inch diameter. For improved handling and agility
the SL can be refined with an electronic body
lowering module (EBL) for the ABC suspension,
which lowers the ride height by up to 30
millimetres. For maximum control over the added
power and performance kleemann
offers a
high-performance brake system in three different
sizes.
Inside an appropriately lavish interior of
leather, alcantara and carbon fibre can be
ordered to welcome the driver to the ultimate
luxury experience. Add to that the combination
of exclusive accessories like entrance panels
with an illuminated kleemann

ergonomically shaped steering wheels.

Scissor Door system, now
available in a new and highly improved version
with fully automatic hydraulic opening and

litre V8-engine, immediately enhances
the power output from 306 Hp to 506 Hp. |
