Aston-Martin-Cygnet-Collet

How do you cater a Toyota IQ to people who drive high end exotics? Put an Aston Martin badge on it and call it a Cygnet. How do you cater an Aston Martin Cygnet to the fashionably savvy? Get together with the French fashion house Colette.

Aston Martin has teamed up with Colette to produce a very limited 14 Cygnets to set them apart from stock Cygnets. What sets this Cygnet apart from stock is the use of such special touches as a silver paint job with high-lights, hand crafted stainless steel badges and a chocolate interior with blue leather throw pillows. On the interior, quilted Alcantara sun visors are added to match the quilted doors and seats. A very cool looking ‘Cygnet & Colette’ key ring matched from solid aluminum with blue enameling. continue reading →

Hot Aston Martin by Wheelsandmore

It appears that the press has been giving a lot of attention to the Audi R8 V10 Spyder that Wheelsandmore has been working on. Of course, there is reason to that, as the car is extremely beautiful. But in all these shadows lays another beast, the very sexy Aston Martin Vantage V8.

The tuner, Wheelsandmore, used the same formula on the Aston Martin Vantage as they did on the Audi R8. What that basically means is that the Aston Martin Vantage also received the three-piece 6SPorz wheels, KW coilover suspension with having the ability to adjust the rebound and compression, and a free-flow custom exhaust system. continue reading →

Aston Martin DBS tuned by Anderson Germany

Is it possible to make the very sexy Aston Martin DBS any sexier? I had my doubts but Anderson Germany seems to think it is possible. After looking at the pictures, yes, it certainly is possible.

Who would have thought that such minimal changes can make such a drastic appearance? Anderson Germany new package for the Aston Martin DBS tinkered with the idea of a matte black and red theme. Black and red theme is a sure thing on any car regardless of how ugly and it seems to work very well for the DBS. The exterior of the DBS wrapped in matte black vinyl wrap and matching five-spoke wheels in black to match the paint job. The red painted calipers give it a nice contrast against the black exterior. continue reading →

Below is the first promotional video for Aston Martin’s latest GT car, the Virage.  The Virage slots in between the luxury oriented DB9 and the sporty DBS.  To me it looks like the DB9 but hey, what do I know, I actually thought the DB9 was discontinued a while ago.

Like all promotional videos, the Virage promo takes place on some very nice twisty mountain roads with beautiful sunny skies and nice music.  Hit the jump to view the video. continue reading →

Aston-Martin-V8-Vantage-S-Coupe

Aston Martin has released first video footage of the Vantage S sports car, which looks and sounds beautiful.  The Vantage S is the sportier version of the standard V8 car and comes with a track oriented suspension.  Power has been increased a bit, the V8 now produces 430 HP (+ 10) and 361 pound-feet (490 Nm) of torque.  The V8 sends power to the rear wheels via an all-new 7-speed Sportshift II automatic transmission; it changes gears 20% faster than the 6-speed manual on the V8 Vantage.  Hit the jump to view the Aston Martin Vantage S video, click the HD button and turn up the volume. continue reading →

Aston-Martin-AMR-ONE-LMP1

Aston Martin Racing unveiled their latest LMP1 contender called the AMR-One.  The car will be racing against cars like the Peugeot 90X and the Audi R18 race cars at the 24 Hours of LeMans race.  Unlike those two cars, the AMR-One is an open cockpit car and was built from the ground up featuring an all-new carbon fiber chassis.

The AMR-One is powered by a 540 horsepower 2.0 liter 6-cylinder engine with direct injection; the engine was specifically developed for the bespoke carbon fiber chassis.  Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed semi-automatic transmission. continue reading →
