To celebrate ten years of operation in the Singapore market, Lamborghini unveiled ten special edition Gallardo’s at the Mandarin Oriental Singapore. The cars are only available in Singapore and all ten have already been spoken for. Lamborghini will donate S$20,000 (about $15,700) from each of the ten cars sold to the Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund (SPMF) to benefit underprivileged students.
The limited edition Gallardo’s come in either black or white exterior color and feature a red stripe on the side of the car. An image of a Merlion (a fish with lion head, Singapore’s national symbol) has also been added to the car. continue reading →

Giving a high end sports car the carbon fiber treatment always makes it even sexier than it already is. This time, Famous Autosports and Tecnocraft have teamed up to and come up with the ultimate carbon fiber body kit for both the exterior and interior for the Lamborghini Gallardo.
By changing many of the things over to carbon fiber, Techocraft was able to up to 300 lb in weight over the factory Gallardo. The list of parts switched over include front bonnet, an aerodynamic underbody panels, rear diffuser and wing, engine covers, bucket seats with racing harnesses, and an air box. continue reading →
At First SuperCars, we love tuned cars, we love it even more when the tuning has been done to an exotic car, and the ultimate tuning is when it’s an exotic car that is also a race car. Case in point, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP600+ by German tuning and racing firm Reiter Engineering.
The Gallardo LP600+ has the standard tuned look with plenty of carbon fiber pieces, a front splitter, a free-flowing exhaust system, fancy wheels, and of course a massive rear wing. From a racing point of view, the Lamborghini LP600+ has been put on a diet and now only weighs 2,635 pounds (1,190 kg) and the 5.2 liter V10 engine has been massaged to produce over 600 horsepower at 8,000 rpm. The interior has been completely gutted and includes carbon fiber pieces and the glass has been replaced with Makrolon windows to achieve the weight loss. When I hear the name Underground Racing, the hair on the back of my neck stands up. These are the guys that brought us the awesome 1,000 horsepower Ferrari F430 and various other twin-turbo Italian exotic supercars.
Now the guys present to the world the Underground Racing TT Lamborghini Superleggera LP 1000-4. As you’d expect, the “TT” stands for twin-turbo and the “1000” stands for 1,000 horsepower, which is an increase of 430 hp over the stock Gallardo.
